R U IN THE U R ?

“He will show you a large upper room, furnished and ready.  Make preparations for us there.”

(Mark 14:15 NIV - Jesus speaking to his disciples ).

A quick glance at this verse may give little significance to many people, but for us here at The Upper Room Student Ministries it has great symbolic meaning!  During the time of Jesus, a very common use of an upper room was that it was the place where a Rabbi met with his closest disciples to talk things over with them and to open his heart to them.  In the same way, Jesus eagerly desires intimacy with students today! "The Upper Room Student Ministries purposes to prepare a place where students will meet with Jesus, mature as His disciples, and model Him to the world!"  It is our hope for students to not only meet and grow with Jesus here at The Upper Room, but also that they will leave here with their own personal-spiritual upper room wherever they go.  If you’re not spending time with Jesus, then you’re missing out!  R U IN THE U R ?  Check out our T-shirts and other products at the Cafe Shops!
